Blogging From Bed

Now that I have my new Treo™ 700P, I have no need to get out of bed. I can do my e-mailing, web surfing, listen to streaming audio and even blog horizontally in my pjs.

Alex says that in Swedish "treo" means asprin. Well my Treo™ eases the pain of morning by allowing me to extend bed time into the mid-afternoon as God intended. (Surely there is a scripture that covers this critical topic)

Most people do not get enough sleep, so I feel I must model healthy sleeping habits for the sleep deprived.

But eventually I will deem it necessary to crawl out of my duvet-like cocoon and enter the world of the awakened. Today is a library day for me in which I hope to blog a piece about homosexuality and the Bible as well as a long overdue Spanish blog entry over at Dos Equis.

But for now I will roll over and sleep another hour.

Since I got my MacBook a few weeks ago I have some serious problems finding reasons to get up. It is just me and my love lying in bed all day while Noa is working hard to support me.

*lol* Great, you guys, that's the kind of support I needed! XP

:( My drawing table is not bed-friendly. I get up at half past six.

It has taken some work, but I think that my partner now believes that I can sit in the recliner, blog, do the banking, e-mail, keep our Netflix que up-to-date, watch TV, AND have a meaningful conversation with him all at the same time.

I believe that wireless is a good thing. A very good thing.

And I thought I was decadent for having an electric blanket, which makes it hard enough to get out of the bed on cold days as it is.

Wireless is indeed a very good thing. But I've found if I don't get myself away from computers at least a couple hours before bedtime I have a hard time getting to sleep. I need time to mentally wind down after being plugged into the net.

Willie, so sorry that you have the drawing disability that forces you out of bed at an unnatural hour.

Alex, I know the power your white knight has on you, and thank goodness that you have been using it for blogging from bed or wherever. Your posts are amazing!

kj, I can just see you in action (or is that "your inaction?")

bruce and anna, I have been told that I get my best work done in bed. ;-)

Bah! Humbug!
"Go to the ant thou sluggard and be wise".
Now THAT'S what I call a good scripture to throw at you, Mr T.
Send you to work in the mines, that's what they should do. None of this soft lazing in bed when you should be slaving away like all the others. Make a real man of you it would.
But hey, let's be honest, that wouldn't work either, would it?
